Stopped in for a late lunch yesterday. The service was really good, we never went without a drink and they were very friendly. We tried the queso, which was good but super thin. I ordered the Cancun fajitas and it was freaking delicious. It had a ton of flavor! I would definitely get that again. Queso - 6.2/10 Cancun Fajitas - 8.2/10
Small but cozy little place in Angier/Fuquay. Standard menu and drinks as any Mi Cancun. I love their Live Guac. All food prep were presentable, fresh and tasted delicious. Staff is very polite and attentive at this location. Many vegetarian entries. Plenty of parking around.
Unpretentious and authentic. Thanks to our friend I got to taste their spicy salsa with their complimentary nachos! Spicy in the real sense of the word! It was fantastic! Reminded me of Andhra food from India. The Salmon tacos were delicious and beautifully presented. They graciously allowed me to switch the rice and beans for grilled vegetables which made the dish extra flavorful and lighter. All the ingredients were fresh and served with genuine hospitality. Their dishes were unlike the usual cliche Mexican food. Would love to go there again.
Always love the food we get here as well as other locations.best authentic food around. Drinks are fantastic too. Wish they would either remove the extra tables they added in over the years, which makes it very cramped to enjoy your meal. You’re on top of everyone. A little space is nice. It makes us feel more comfortable. That’s the only downside.
This is the best Mexican restaurant in Johnston County. It might look small and out of place, but you have to try it! It’s an amazing culinary experience. The food is so authentic and flavorful. They have a wide variety of dishes, all made with care. I highly recommend the parrillada. It’s the best dish on the menu. The meat is perfectly grilled and seasoned, and the sides are delicious. Everything is fresh and tastes great. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They know a lot about the menu and can recommend great dishes. Whether you’re a Mexican food fan or just trying it for the first time, I highly recommend this restaurant. You won’t regret it!
We visit mi Cancun often but we have recently visited the Angier location twice and it is so so good. Their table side Guac is to die for. The taco salad and ribeye street tacos didn’t disappoint. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very friendly.
My favorite Mexican restaurant by far. They have very delicious shrimp and chorizo tacos and their quesa birria tacos are delicious as well. My wife loves the fajitas. The cheese dip is to die for. And the price isn’t bad either!
Absolutely amazing, as soon as I sat down I instantly had a bowl of chips and salsas. The customer service was splendid, me and my wife were checked on multiple times and asked if everything was great. I got the steak chimichinga that was by far the best one I have had. The tortilla chip bowl with all the toppings was a very creative idea. Well deserved 5 star review, keep doing what you are doing.
